- 10cm의 가로 또는 세로선으로 통증 등 주관적 현상을 측정하는 도구이다.
- 아동에게 자신의 통증을 가장 잘 표현한 곳에 표시하게 한다.
- 왼쪽 끝의 ‘통증 없음’부터 시작하여 표시된 부위까지를 자로 재고 cm로 통증 점수를 기록한다.
